How Lootism sources its deals, what the price history actually tells you, and how we pay for it all.
Yes — completely. Browsing deals, coupons, price history and setting price-drop alerts are all free, and you do not need an account to use any of them. There is no subscription, no paywall and no premium tier.
Some of the outbound links on Lootism are affiliate links. If you click through and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We also display advertising. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not affect how we rank or order the offers you see.
We automatically collect publicly available offers from retailer websites, their promotional feeds and affiliate networks, then organise them into categories and stores. Our system refreshes listings throughout the day, so what you see reflects the most recent data we have for each retailer.
We track each offer's status and expiry date and remove codes once a retailer marks them as ended. That said, retailers can change or withdraw an offer at any moment without notice, and some codes carry conditions such as a minimum spend or exclusions. Always confirm the final price in your cart before you complete the order.
For products we track, we record the sale price, the original price and the discount over time. Opening the price history popup on a deal card shows how that item has moved, along with its all-time low, all-time high and how long we have been tracking it. It is the quickest way to tell a genuine discount from an inflated "was" price.
Open any tracked deal, enter your email and the price you want to pay, and we will email you once the product falls to or below that figure. No account is needed. We use your address only to send that alert — see our Privacy Policy for detail.
Lootism lists cashback and rewards offers published by retailers — we do not run a cashback wallet of our own and we never hold a balance for you. Any cashback is earned and paid out by the retailer or rewards programme behind the offer, under their own terms.
No. Every core feature — deals, coupons, store pages, price history and price alerts — works without signing up. An account simply lets you keep favourites and manage your alerts in one place.
Please tell us. Prices and stock move fast and the occasional listing slips through stale. Send us the link through our contact form and we will check it. You can suggest stores and offers to add the same way.
No. We are a search and comparison site only. Every purchase happens on the retailer's own website, under their pricing, payment, delivery and returns policy. We are not party to that transaction and cannot process orders, payments or refunds.
